Terms
These terms govern your use of the iFoodlab website and, once you subscribe, the iFoodlab service. A separate order or subscription agreement may add to them.

iFoodlab is an AI-assisted platform for food safety and operations. It is designed to support food businesses working towards certification to FSSC 22000 and other GFSI-recognised schemes. iFoodlab is a software tool: it does not grant certification, and using it does not by itself make a business certified or compliant. Responsibility for your food safety system and for meeting any standard remains with you.
AI features assist you — they draft and suggest. A person always reviews and approves before anything becomes a record; the AI never signs. You are responsible for checking AI-assisted output before you rely on it. See the Security page for how AI handles data.
Prices are shown on our Plans section. Rand prices exclude VAT. The price is the same whether you come to us directly or through an iFoodlab partner. Subscription and billing terms are set out in your order or subscription agreement.
Data you put into the service remains yours. We process it to provide the service, under our Privacy notice and Data Processing Agreement.
We work to keep the service available and secure but do not warrant it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, iFoodlab is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited as set out in your subscription agreement.
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above. Questions? Email hello@ifoodlab.com. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
