PAIA manual

This manual is published under South Africa's Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA). It explains the records iFoodlab holds and how to request access to them.

About this manual

PAIA gives you the right to request access to records held by private bodies where the record is required to exercise or protect a right. This manual sets out how to make such a request to iFoodlab.

Records we hold

  • Company and statutory records.
  • Customer, supplier and contract records.
  • Personal information processed as described in our Privacy notice.
  • Operational, financial and employee records.

Some records are also available without a formal PAIA request — for example, the information on this website.

How to request access

Submit your request in writing to hello@ifoodlab.com, describing the record you want and the right you are seeking to exercise or protect, with enough detail for us to identify the record and to contact you. Prescribed fees may apply. We will respond within the period required by PAIA.

The Information Regulator

You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa, which oversees PAIA and POPIA. Contact details for the Regulator are available on its website.
